Pink Ribbon charity Hinayui Oiran

KOKORO HANASHIZUKU in Kyoto is introducing Hinayui Oiran, a new Pink Ribbon charity plan launching September 12. This year-round oiran-inspired photoshoot brings together layered pink kimono styling, two hairstyle options, and the KYOTO KOKORO GROUP’s ongoing support for the Pink Ribbon movement.

Hello everyone! I’m Kouyama, a makeup artist here at KOKORO HANASHIZUKU.
To jump right in—do you like the color pink?

I absolutely love it!

There was a time back when I lived at my parents’ house when I decorated my entire room in pink ( ´艸`)
Curtains, TV, bedding—everything was pink! ♡
It really lifts your spirits to be surrounded by your favorite color, doesn’t it?

KYOTO KOKORO GROUP’s Pink Ribbon Charity Initiative

By the way, did you know that the KYOTO KOKORO GROUP runs a Pink Ribbon charity initiative? We donate 5% of the fees received from our customers through this initiative to support the Pink Ribbon movement.

We offer Pink Ribbon charity plans at all our locations—three in Kyoto and one in Tokyo. Here at KOKORO HANASHIZUKU, we have two specific plans: “Hagoromo Tennyo” (Celestial Maiden) and “Momokoi Kaguya” (Peach-Loving Kaguya).

However, the “Hagoromo Tennyo” plan is scheduled to end at the close of this year.

But in its place, a brand-new Pink Ribbon charity plan inspired by oiran aesthetics is being launched!!

Its name is…

Hinayui Oiran

The name is a coined term combining Hina, evoking loveliness and delicacy, with Yui, inspired by the “ribbon” in Pink Ribbon (`・ω・´)

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the photos!

Soft and Deep Pink Kimono Styling

For the Hinayui Oiran plan, we created a look that layers lovely, soft pinks with dignified, slightly deeper shades of pink.

The result is an atmosphere that balances sweetness with a mature, elegant charm.

The furisode (long-sleeved kimono) is a deep pink, while the uchikake (outer robe) is a soft pink.
The obi sash and layered collar are pink as well, but their patterns incorporate touches of cool colors such as green, blue, and purple, creating a truly luxurious look!

Two Hairstyle Options for the Hinayui Oiran Look

For hairstyles, there are two variations available: a traditional Japanese “Date-Hyogo-Mage” style and a wig style.

Date-Hyogo-Mage Style

First, let’s talk about the “Date-Hyogo-Mage,” an elaborate traditional Japanese topknot style.

Since the Date-Hyogo-Mage is included in the plan price, it offers great value! ♡

It creates a classic oiran-inspired silhouette, but the abundance of pink decorations gives it a fresh and unique twist that you may not have seen before. ( *´艸`)

The voluminous topknot can also make the face appear smaller. ♡
We can create this style for you if your hair is at least bob-length.

Wig Style with Pink Highlights

On the other hand, the wig style features natural-looking brown hair with pink “inner color” highlights.

The hairstyle is arranged in a Japanese half-up style, so the placement of the ornaments remains essentially the same.
Plus, an organza ribbon is attached to the back of the head for an even sweeter, more charming look! (^_-)-☆

Our Recommended Pose: The Glance-Back Shot

Now, let me introduce our recommended pose for this look:

With this pose, you can show off the ribbon sash at the back while capturing a lovely, delicate atmosphere.

This incredibly cute sash was lovingly handcrafted by our makeup artist, Ichikawa-san.
Its shape is absolutely adorable, allowing you to truly appreciate the beauty of the kimono from behind!

A Year-Round Pink Ribbon Charity Plan

The Hinayui Oiran plan has been added to our Pink Ribbon Charity Plan lineup, so this oiran-inspired experience is available year-round.

Please note that discounts cannot be applied to this plan.

October is widely recognized as “Pink Ribbon Month,” a time dedicated to sharing accurate information about breast cancer and raising awareness of the importance of screenings for early detection and treatment.

Various campaigns are held around the world to promote breast cancer awareness and encourage people to consider regular screenings.
